Help my idiot son escape pee jail
This is Orion, my 6 year old Flame Point Siamese boy, so stoned he thinks he can phase through the kennel bars at the emergency vet.
On Monday, September 1st we had to rush to the vet at 11pm for his first urinary blockage. Turns out male cats are excellent specimens to prove intelligent design does not exist. Their urethras are so long and narrow any sediment or urinary crystals can easily get stuck resulting in a life-threatening emergency that will result in death if not treated within 48 hours.
The wonderful staff at VEG Pittsburgh let me stay with my boy while they treated him over 8 hours. He was given loads of pain and anxiety meds before they sedated him to catheterize and flush out the blockage in his urethra.
Unfortunately he had a second blockage two days later.

VEG Pittsburgh had to hold him for overnight observation this time. He was released on Friday morning and is getting more used to eating the new urinary diet food he'll have to be on for the rest of his life.
Unfortunately the vet bill from these two visits is a whopping $7,700 which is double what I have been able to save up for the past two years.
